Trout Unlimited is a national, non-profit organization founded in Michigan in 1959. Today, they consist of over 400 local and state chapters comprising 300,000 members.

Dark Skies Fly Fishing is happy to partner with Trout Unlimited and its many chapters, including the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited, to promote coldwater conservation throughout this region and beyond. We support all of TU’s initiatives for conserving, protecting, and restoring America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.

One of the ways in which we support Trout Unlimited is through highlighting the work completed by local chapters in this region. These local chapters of the lifeblood of conservation, working hard to conserve and restore the local waters we all love. Every issue of Dark Skies Fly Fishing Magazine features a TU chapter in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

We strongly urge every angler, not just fly fishers, to join Trout Unlimited and become active in their local chapters. We need you.
